Hi. The names Moxy and im from North Bay ON. Just a general fishing fanatic who's happy to catch anything with fins. Although i do spend more time hunting bass and trout more than anything. Just wanted to say hi and glad to be around like minded people.

Thanks for the warm greetings, yeah the fishing opportunities certainly are endless around here. I know i few guys who have hooked up with 50 inch muskies this year already!! It's killing me that i haven't gotten out yet for muskies this fall. Hopefully when i go i'll have some awesome pics to share!

As for gear im mostly a spinning guy, mono line (except for largies,musky i use braid), allot of plastics, in-line spinners, classic timeless lures. And i love my Shakespeare Ugly Stiks, cause im rough on my gear and i need strong stuff for all the bushwacking i do to get to the tough spots.

Welcom to the fourm moxy. I believe you'll love it here I been to north bay this summer and it's a beautiful place for fishing but at night those mayflies are everywhere!! Lol

Thanks everyone for the warm greetings. And yes, the shadflies are pretty intense in late May or early June! I've read that people come from around the world to North Bay during the hatch just to see the buildings and roads coated in bugs!! I guess it's one of the largest concentrations anywhere, you can even buy t-shirts with a Shadfly on it that says North Bay Ontario on it!
