Hello, OFF members

I've done a lot of fishing in my younger years and have recently caught the fishing bug again. Saw this forum and thought i'd join. I've done most of my fishing up in Temagami by my family's cottage. Now living in Waterdown/Burlington and hoping to find some fishing spots close by to ease my pain when i get the urge to go fishing. Any suggestions ?

Welcome fr3ak. I'm in Hamilton myself and there are lots of other members in the Hamilton - Burlington area.
I have great memories of fishing the Temagami area although it has been a few years. I've flown into a number of lakes with Lakeland Airways ( I believe? ) Are they still in operation?
What are you looking to catch fr3ak or are you like me and just after fish?
Anyway I will send you a PM and share some thoughts.

Welcome fr3ak. I'm in Hamilton myself and there are lots of other members in the Hamilton - Burlington area.
I have great memories of fishing the Temagami area although it has been a few years. I've flown into a number of lakes with Lakeland Airways ( I believe? ) Are they still in operation?

hi alfie, Far as i know lakeland airways are still in operation. I've never gone myself but my uncle went on a trip with them just a year ago. I prefer bass fishing but i have a nephew that keeps bugging and bugging to go fishing for pike. From what i've heard mountsberg is a good place to go for around here.. but i've been there twice and no pike... well one but was small though. any other locations with in an hours drive for pike??

I usually go for bass and use a blue fox spinner. I've caught a ton of bass n pike on it up north in temagami.
