2 piece

12lb to 25lb test line

1/2oz to 4oz weight lures

Very nice green colour and cork handle.

I use the same rod for pier casting for salmon and trout and I absolutely love it. Can also be used for musky, stripers, etc.

I have 1 extra hence why I am selling. It's literally brand new, still wrapped in packaging from the store with all tags.

They come with a warranty which is included on one of the attached tags.

Last I saw they were sold out in stores a while ago.

Located in Oshawa - do a fair bit of traveling so can meet in other cities as well.

$50

Will sell for $45 but no lower than that, if I can't get $45 for it I'll keep it as an extra.

Anyone who has owned an Okuma Celilo, feel free to comment! This is one sweet rod for an unbeatable price.

I can vouch for the durability of this rod. Trust me...the wife slammed it to the concrete wall(don't ask)...spinning reel (also an okuma) broke into pieces (the wife had a hell of a swing) the rod is in tact and was able to haul in countless pikes and bass, 2 muskie and 3 salmon off the pier and i still use it up to this day. and we're still cool. mine was 9'6" though...good rod.

If it was the casting rod this would no longer be up, I can say that a buddy has put this rod through absolute hell and it keeps coming back for more... Good luck with the sale.

I had a few of these on Kijiji for $60 for a few weeks, sold most of them but to be honest I thought they were going to sell out in 5 minutes.

Anyhoo, one left, if no one here buys it I'll put it back on Kijiji.

Hello,
Can this rod be used for float fishing for trout, salmon ?

Thank you
This rod appears too heavy. For float fishing you want a rod at least 10' or so and it should have a line rating more like 4-10lb or 6-12lb. Most people use 13ft rods for float fishing.

Thank you very much

I appreciate your advice.
Any particular brand/model for salmon float fishing, without declaring bankruptcy? I have been fishing with old spinning rod ,but unfortunately got broken. So I am looking for new or lightly used rod.
Biser

I have a Celilo I use for casting and it call take a beating. Assuming this version is similar it would be a good investment.

Bump

Still available, price $45, anyone need a good rod to hit the piers for some winter trout this is a good choice

I have the 8'6 ML Celilo and have even tossed plugs for chinook with it. Absolutely bulletproof rod.
