New to board

Hello from Mississauga,On. I think it's great that people who share a passion for fishing can come together on this board and share experiences and help each other. I'm also impressed with the responsible messages of "CATCH & RELEASE". From the posts I've read, the majority of the members are a great bunch. My compliments to the administrator for running a fine board.

hey bigguy, just out of curiosity,do you have a camera? if so you should enter some pics in the photography contest, the winner gets to choose a picture of a fish of thier choice, it could be one that you've caught, done in a painting by me

Hello all. I am also new to the board. Was searching on Google and came across this site. Like what I see so far. I am a member of many other boards and am amazed at how I could have over-looked this one.

I live in Ajax and do most of my fishing from either Rice Lake or Lake Simcoe. I have only recently become interested in URBAN shore fishing, as I am not into ice fishing but will brave the elements if there is open water to be had during the winter months. Have tried some Pike fishing in the TO area in the last week but have been skunked thus far.

Hey welcome aboard...so already been out in the city for pike?? where abouts have you been? I am thinking about heading out, maybe on one of these 10 degree days coming up!

On Friday I hit Humber Bay West because the spot I have been to years ago was still frozen over in Humber Bay East. Sunday hit Humber Bay East, but also no luck. I think that front with the rain that moved through, spooked them.

I also want to try the Oshawa area if the ice is out by the old marina. Pike tend to hang out in there at this time.

Put a couple of reports up in the First report section but I guess they haven't been approved. I know they are there now because my buddy has been out a few times and has pics to prove that he is nailing some winter monsters.

you just have to put in the legwork.
