new to carp fishing

Hi eveyone i am a 17 year old boy who recently caught some nice carp in the grand river and i am asking all u fisherman where some nice carp spots in ontario i normaly fish for pike but found a new love for carp fishing

But seriously, pikeboy. They are everywhere. You said you caught them in the Grand, yes I have seen and caught them there. There's a lot of Carp fishing goes on in Hamilton Harbor, the canal and I see them all the time in Cootes.
I'm not an expert and am expecting Hammercarp to sound in any time now, but where I have caught them is usually slower moving water with a muddyish bottom, but I have caught them in rocky areas too.
