New to Fishing and want to be in the G.R. Bass Derby

Hello,

I am new to fishing. Unfortunately don't know much about fishing but I do enjoy it. I would like to do the G.R. Bass Derby in July so if there is anyone out there who is experienced and has time to go with me that would be great. . That being said women or men would be great.
