new to Ontario (Borden)..

i do not know anyone who hunts or fishes where i live (base borden)..just moved here from BC and am eager to get into the hunting and fishing. i usually lake shore fish of troll ( but dont own a boat). i just bought an ice fishing rod and would like to get out there and catch some fish or at least get a line in the water...

Welcome to OFF! You're pretty close to Cooks Bay -- Lot's of great ice fishing to be had there. There are quite a few guys who ice fish on this board, so feel free to ask if you have any questions.

jeremonster - i work in borden as well - steelheading is pretty good right in your backyard....and like others said cooks bay is close so is kemp when it freezes...lakers n whities to be had

jeremonster- If your really jonesin to get, im in barrie and spare time ill go hit up little lake (n) of barrie! ive been there couple times the last week !
Wishiniwasfishin- Have any good locations by borden for steelhead, this is new news to me, kinda really pumped that i have steels so close instead of having to travle south for 1 1/2 hr!
