First get there early, launch, double check all things - gear - tackle - boat and this should have been already done nights in advance. Remember your steps at the launch and be quick - busy launches can get sticky from tempers. Livewell most important as added stress from livewell will reduce weight of fish and mortality has 2 losers. Have a game plan for take off - shotgun start depending on numbers and your boating skills can be hairy at best - depending on forum of take off. Time is very important so don't waste any and start ASAP. Try to set pattern quickly and do what your confident with until pattern is set. Remember not everyone will bring in limits or huge fish so have fun doing it - relax. Had a buddy who could fill a livewell in practice but come time for tourney - big nothing - this was in my opinion he stressed to much - didn't relax. LOL Numerous times nothing yet days before limits. Can't figure them out try something you would normally not - drag tubes sometimes it is incredible. Best of luck. What lake may help you with some spots if I know it.
