Hello,
I'm new to this forum but have been fishing for a couple of years primarily bass. I am looking at getting into other species and maybe ice fishing. I have joined hoping for tips and locations that could help me especially this summer when I try to fish my first bass tournament on the ottawa river. I currently work in the military and am posted to CFB Petawawa, and live 15 minuets north in the village of Chalk River but am originally From Woodstock area specifically Beachville. Thank you.

Welcome! Great fishing near you for sure, my brother's buddies go there and won't shut up about it haha.

Which tourneys are you joining? BAA ? I'm not familiar with the Ottawa around pemby or petawawa but might be able to help you around the city.

Nice to have another Ottawa area guy around.

The tournament i'm thinking about trying the Petawawa Bassmasters one man tournament in August.
