just signed up glad i found this site! Used to be very into fishing but my interest had tapered off since i moved to toronto. Took my son fish and thought id check online for some good places to take him. Peoples pictures of the urban fishing scene have reignited my intrest to get out and fish. Again thank you to this site. I will try to keep myposts up as i relearn on how this urban fishing works

If you look up Urban Fishing in a thesaurus, you will see the name Blair beside it. If you look through Blair`s posts you will see what I am talking about. Welcome aboard

hahha very true he can catch a fish in the middle of an intersection :p.

Welcome :) looking forward to reading your posts

Blair's post were actually what Motivated me to pull my gear out!! Very inspiring! Currently out chasing carp never caught one before should be fun. I did have a quick question tho what would you guys/girls recommend for a nice good quality/low cost salmon set up? Would love to try hitting port credit this fall. I don't think my current set ups will be effective for salmon ( current set ups are geared towards pike/bass and similar)

Not really sure never fished that area and never intentionally went out for salmon probably down further closer to the park past lakeshore to start

So im almost fully set up to go attempt some "pier" fishing!! Hopefully it wont be as crazy as people make it sound and maybe meet some of you out on the water.
