Im done with fishing steel in the east. Ahh, I have said that before. Who knows. But... I decided to hit the pool up tomorrow. If anyone on here is going to be around, iJay, SlickRick, anyone else etc.. I am riding solo and we could angle. Haven't really fished there this time of year before actually I dont think, so I have no idea. I am bringing my pin and my spinner. Jigs, spoons, roe, im going to try it all. The fish down there have a mind of their own.

Maybe see some of you tomorrow,

cheers boys.

oh and since I am not targeting steelhead or salmon, I guess no restrictions on naming the area.

WHIRLPOOL WHIRLPOOL WHIRLPOOL WHIRLPOOL.

just had to get that out of my system.

  • Naming Rivers: The naming of any specific river or tributary is not permitted in the publicly viewable general discussion forum. Instead, please refer to the river by the general area it is located, ie “East Trib”, “West Trib”, “GB (Georgian Bay) Trib”, etc. For example, you are not allowed to say "I had a great day fishing yesterday on Wilmot Creek", instead, we encourage members to say "I had a great day fishing yesterday on an East Trib". The former statement should be relegated to the reports sections (coming soon), away from public view.
Somebody had to do it.
Just kidding.

Good luck with your adventure GT and stay safe. with some slight rains going on lately, information about the water condition is greatly appreciated. and looking forward to see some portraits.

Really wish I could make it Working M-F 9-5 has its pitfalls. Tommorow is our garage sale and Sunday I am going to be in buffalo for some much needed clothing shopping.

We have a trip comming up toflorida in the next 2 weeks or I would be tempted to take a half day today. Good luck man and thank you for the invite!

just my opinion, and i know you might be joking, but you probably shouldnt encourage that idea.... it is plain foolish.

You cant take the big river lightly, one wrong move can cost you your life. I can say from experience as we had an extremely close call in the boat last year, we were possibly a few feet from being a statistic.....

First off, big thanks to slickrick for teasing me enough to draw me down for the weekend. We fished Friday afternoon/ night, saturday morning/afternoon, and sunday afternoon. I went 2/4, 1/2, 4/4 respectfully. What a gorgeous three outings on the water. couple pics.

Nice, that second one is a fatso.

Do these fish live there year-round, or they're just slow making it back to Lake O?

The cooler water temps are keeping them there salmo...once the water warms up they'll take of...

What the hell are those?

Look like half trout half pike?

Trikes??? LOL Great looking fish!
