Just wondering if anyone has had any luck in the Niagara. Was out last week and fishing was fairly slow. Hoping to give it another try tomorrow (Sunday). Any feedback would be great.

I think frozenfire might have gone down to the whirlpool today. Hopefully he'll have something to report.

Yup, I was just there today.
However, I didn't wet a line!

Just took the hike down with the girl. Nice and relaxing.
WAY too many guys...around 50 anglers lined the shoreline. No one was catching anything for the time I was there.
Saw one guy hook and land a brown trout. That was it.
Steelhead and browns jumping all over the place though.
Asked a few anglers and it was really slow and frustrating they say...with all the fish jumping but none hitting LOL.

If you're going on a weekend, go early and claim a good spot.
Most people were using roe.
One or two guys using plastic minnows and another handful of guys throwing spoons.

Thanks for the input. Gonna head out tomorrow and not to sure where to go with this rain coming. Little worried Meaford and area may get blown out. Was thinking niagara just due to the fact that the rain won't affect it too much. Any ideas??

Shrimp..the cocktail kind..works wonder's when the fish are presented with 50 roe bag's..rip it in half..and make sure to include the tail end..it contains the most scent..

I actually had someone tell me shrimp works amazing while fishing browns... only thing ive ever had sucsess with shrimp is lots of huge channel cats.
