Hi folks, just joined, looking forward to chatting this winter about steelhead on Lake Huron tribs and coasters and walleye around Lake Nipigon. Anyone been at the Nine Mile near Port Albert lately? Heading down from Brockville this weekend, but suspect water levels are still pretty low.

First of all Thank You for Noticing and Asking!!
No worries! I was missing reading your posts...

Have a couple of "Situations" I'm trying to take care of. Still in the Process of doing that.

BUT!! Life Is What Life Is!

If you KNOW you ARE doing the BEST YOU CAN under the Circunstances, that's what counts.

To borrow an Old Fishing Quote: "If you take your Boat into Shallow Waters, You'd Better Know where the Stumps are." :)/>/>

Hope all has been Well For You!

Rick

Good luck with the situations, at least we're still kicking. :D

Like the quote! Cheers.

Yeah cessnadriver is from Ottawa and he is a member of TBF as well...I think he flies a Cessna 150 but I don't know if he puts skiis on it in winter.
If so it would be pretty cool to see some winter icefishing pics a float plane can take off & land with a lot less effort on skiis & winter is a good time to fly into those hidden gems!

Welcome,

I have fished for coasters several years back during the Spring. I fished with a retired MNR officer who was stationed in the area in the 70's. We camped on an island and fished the shorline stream mouths. We had great success with smelt patterns. It was great and I hope to get back there.
