Hello Ladies and gentlemen. The run is on on the north shore of Lake superior. I've been up here since last wednesday and the fishing has been nothing short of great. Knowing my home waters has been an advantage considering the strange spring we have had. Some days have been

5 fish days some 8 and yesterday the first ten plus fish day. The fish are trickling in slowly but surely. Will have a full report with photos when I take time to catch my breath.

Very few out during the week. Have not seen a soul on one good river. Other rivers have a few guys. Its 'very different up here. Having a blast.

I have wanted to fish steelhead up there for a long time. I have heard that there are many rivers that have excellent runs and the crowds are small.

Thats where I plan on breaking my steelie virginity.

I'm only a 4 hour drive away, would be a nice change as well.
