Are there any conservation parks on the Notty that offer reasonable fishing. Trying to avoid all these landowner issues.
Conservation Areas
Welcome to the NVCA watershed. We hope you enjoy visiting all of our Conservation Areas (CA's).
The NVCA's Conservation Lands Program is designed to work towards the long-term protection of significant lands within our watershed. Recreation and education are some of the tools used to achieve this goal through the placement of trail heads, interpretative signage and information panels within each CA.
NVCA Land Acquisition Strategy
Criteria for conservation lands acquisition include demonstrated abilities to protect both ground and surface waters as well as significant flora/fauna habitat.
Financial assistance, or land donations, to the NVCA from agencies including the Ministry of Natural Resources, Nature Conservancy of Canada, private individuals and others, have ensured the long-term protection of almost 12,000 acres. Choosing to support our Land Acquisition program through financial or land donations will ensure the enjoyment and protection of our natural heritage for future generations.

Conservation Areas
Due to the "wilderness nature" of our lands they are all classified as
Natural Hazard Areas. Our watershed is made up of a diverse assembly of landscapes making each of our CA's a unique adventure.
Our Conservation Areas provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities including: nature trails, bicycling, bird & butterfly watching, canoeing, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, photography, cross-country skiing, and more!
