nov 28 toronto harbourfront
noon until 4pm
worked until 6am and had to work at 5 pm so i fished the afternoon
a large...efka size trout ...gave my spoon a couple long follows along the shore wall
a small pike also followed a williams trophy 2 along the wall
the third largest pike i have ever seen stormed my trophy 2 ...it was huge...but it turned back 3 feet from the wall
i was surprised how thick it was and yet how fast it was attacking my lure
guys you gotta keep going out ...cold or not....cause the fish are still there....
2 months from now you will be cabin crazy

It's crazy that there is a trophy pike fishery right there, surrounded by 2.5 million people and yet very few people actually fish it... And now you're getting into some bonus rainbows. Awesome... If I ever move downtown, I know what I'll be doing.

Are most spots in the harbourfront OK for fishing though? I mean I could see people complaining that you were fishing on private marina property or something???? Always made me tentative to try....

Which area of the harbourfront do you fish?

you can fish the harbourfront from keating channel to humber river
i focus from york quay east to ontario place
the board walk behind queen's quay terminal has been recently done
the police station...i fish right off the wall
spadina quay is good
bathurst quay was excellent but is no longer as it is full of silt due to construction
they are putting pillings into the harbour while working on the malt silos
bathurst quay had been reknown for monster pike...we will have to see if they come back
just do not cast towards the sides of peoples boats
or intrude in their dock space during sleeping hours
