Was down there for a while. Did a lot of fishing in addition to the usual stuff a visitor might do. I made a report in pdf format and posted it on a New York Bass forum because I posted there before going for advice. That's why the report is somewhat Americanized.

Thought some of you might be interested. The file is about 8 megs and 35 pages, though it's pics that make up most of those pages.

Sometimes it's just so frustrating waiting for bass to open for so many weeks, especially when the sun is shining the air is warm. I am only one hour from the border and I'd consider doing that drive and paying the tolls and getting a one day NY licence for $10 if there were some small bass lakes suitable for my boat just over the border. But there are not. There's just the one that I fished last on my trip and it's not all that. Too weedy for a motor and and in many spots the weeds are like slop, rising all the way to the surface and it completely stops your bait from dropping.

The people who live around Kingston and east have better options. Not sure what bass season is in Michigan but if it is open, people close to that border also have more options.
