What a day!! Although it started off slow it turned out to be a great day on the ice! Always great to meet new people from the forum and share good times on the water/ice. Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make our day even better!

We made it up there @ 6:30, waited around till 7:10, but unfortunately could not identify anyone from this forum. We were looking forward to the meetind but we missed it. No fish for us today.

We were both wearing floatation suit, russian hats and our sled was packed up infront of the car.
Next time we can exchange Phone#.

Was definitely a slower day...but glad the group got into some fish.

Holy "I am the walrus" in pic 4 lol. Add frozenfire's 3 fish in 2 hours and thats a 7 fish off day lol.

The toughest part of these things is getting everyone together at the beginning of the day. Cell #'s are definitely key. It was a great day though despite the slow periods. After losing that fish at the hole 20 min into the day I thought it would be a hard and fast day for sure, wasnt expecting the 5 hour waiting period between fish. Till next time...i'm pre-booked next weekend but the following one im game!

very cool experience to get out on the deep water. A first for me but definitely won't be the last.
