Hey Everyone,

I am currently fundraising for a new toy - ISLANDER STEELHEADER .....

I dont think that i am going to need to hang onto my old friend - my Aventa. It has served me well, hasn't caused me any issues, and hasnt let me down.

There are a lot of guys (even mods) on this forum that will back this reel up any day of the week...

I run a clean ship, this reel has been well taken care of. It has orange backing and has recently been respooled with 250yd's of 10lb Raven (yellow for the colourly impaired)...
There are a couple superficial scratches here and there, but she spins true, no wobble, no guff...

I'm asking $100, and I don't think i plan on selling for less, any less and i might just hang onto it. Its staying on my rod until somebody buys it. (or til i buy the islander)
I also have a Quantum Coldwater 11'6" (not shown) that i could combo up for somebody if they're looking to set up for a starter. Nice winter stick, nice wire guides, reel rings (not fixed), great value.

I got a bit emotional taking it off my rod... Cutting that mainline sent a shiver through my body. Lol.

All the good times we had... Missing hooksets, forgetting to turn the clicker on, crashing through beaver dams etc...

But then I put the islander on and "turned the page"...
