Had a week off from work and deceided to go up to the family trailer in the grey-bruce area. Did some local exploring and found a nice ice-cold creek. One of those places thats so surreal you have to double check reality. Every cast was almost a certain strike - Gotta love dry flies

The gear (ultralight bamboo rod/3wt line):

It was a fantastic time although i had to wade in sandals since my waders have developed a leak somewhere..

Great fish I love the hidden gem rivers and the great thing is there's lots up that way I want to hike some and camp

What a beautiful setting you have discovered! I could spend days on a creek like that!

Congrats on your find!

wow 34ric  amazing place you had to fish, thanks for posting and sharing the photos of the fish and river, amazing find :D

Nice 34ric. I spent 4 years working in the Grey-Bruce area and there are many streams with trout if you do a little leg work to find them. I actually recognize the spot in your picture with the big boulder in the stream. I have been there, found it just like you did by doing a little exploring. When I did my exploring I didn't have the internet, just maps and I drove around sideroads looking for streams. I found many places that way.

Yea, pending weather im headed up there this weekend and gonna go explore somemore.

Was up in grey-bruce on the weekend and found a private creek! Signs posted everywhere saying no trespassing/ all fishing this creek may be prosecuted. Crazy stuff. Ran into a local guy and he said theres a 60' grey zone from the centre of the bridge that you can legally fish from. Gonna test it out this weekend...
