Oh bring small 6ft rod spin, bait whatever you like. Your fav pike or bass lures.Good footwear you don't mind getting wet. Something to keep your lures in vest small bag. Etc. pack light when wading. More comfort.

I actually think I'm gonna move it to Sunday. River is still blown. No rain in the forecast gives more time for things to settle down. Devon if you could pick me up Sunday that would be awesome.

Im going to try to make this one! i have some bass flies i didnt get much use out of up at the cottage, even if carping isnt optimal, i could throw some poppers and crays and whatnots,

Loads of em around in the area we are gonna be in would love to have you out. And I would love to learn the ways of the carp. There's a piece of water that's on the river that looks like a pond that I'm sure would have some lurking around.

Tell me what I need and I think I am in! If it is sunday I can play hooky from work.
pack light. dont do what i did last time and try to bring 2 rods and a bunch of stuff. just makes it a pain to keep moving and picking up/dropping stuff. specially on a river where you are frequently moving

a rod. a small waist/fanny pack with a few lures/odds and ends and a small net that can clip on somehow and some decent shoes with ankle support youll be good to go and comfy.
im sure a few ppl will have a net so no worries if you dont have one. everything else is weather based(hats outerwear etc)

dont forget bug spray too if that kindof thing bothers you ;)

River is going down quickly conditions should be mint come Sunday. Also if guys are staying all day we could head to a trout creek after in the evening or something so bring your fly rod, tan/black caddis and hoppers.

Sweet. So we had some heavy rain up stream and I'm not sure if the river is gonna clear up in time for Sunday. Right now vis is maybe 5" so there's a trout creek we can do that's a tad high right now but never goes dirty. Its about an extra 30-35 from the original place. But keep a keen eye on this thread for what's gonna happen.
