Painting a Fiberglass Boat

Bought a bass boat this summer and it needs some work. Has anyone painted a fiberglass boat?
Not sure where to start. Checked YouTube but couldn't find much.

My brother has done a few of these. Lots of prep work. I suggest you hitch it up and go to a "trusted" body shop for an estimate.

I can tell you, I built a pilot house from scratch last winter and the finishing was the easiest part. It greatly depends on how bad the original surface is. I used Awlgrip epoxy prime and paint. It went on amazing, flowed fantastic and stood up to some solid use through the season. Still shines like new and hard as nails.
