I bought these in the rockies and never ended up needing them. Perfect for anyone who is worried about snowed in roads this coming ice fishing season. I paid $90 for them, asking $50. They are like-new in box with receipt. I only tried them on to make sure they would fit, because my size wasn't listed but a very similar size was.

I use snow tires and don't have much of a need to hang onto these.

Sizes these chains will fit:

225/60/17

215/75 16

235/45 19

235/710 460A

245/40 20

245/60 16

245/680 460A

245/70 15

255/45 18

255/50 17

255/55 16

215/65 17

225/700 ?

235/70 14

235/75 14

245/45 19

245/65 15

245/70 14

255/40 19

255/45 19

255/50 18

255/55 17

215/70 16

...and many many more. If you see a size close to yours, chances are they will fit fine as they are adjustable.

Not trying to ruin your sale, but arent these illegal to use on public roads in Ontario?

I thought they're allowed, just not on highways.

EDIT: scratch that, a quick google search has me leaning towards what iJay is saying. Not allowed on public, but from what I'm reading, private is a go :)

Chains do alot of damage to the roads, ALOT they cause cracking at an astounding rate. While I cannot confirm the legality of this. I am sure I red it a couple years ago

Put simply, if you're driving in any road conditions that warrant the use of chains, regardless of what road you're on, I can't imagine anywhere in Ontario giving you a ticket.

Even the 401 can at times get a lot of unplowed snow for hours on days when it's continuously snowing. I am sure the opp would rather see Joe Schmo driving 50 km/h sporting a set of chains, than involved in a 50 car pile up.

As for snowy/icy back roads up north, these are perfect! You wouldn't want an ice fishing trip ruined because you got stuck somewhere or couldn't pass a section of road safely.
