I am going to be fishing Parry Sound a lot this summer, and I have always targeted muskie so I plan on hopefully finding some muskie. Only thing is I have been told they are few and far between in the parry sound area. I heard 12 mile bay is good? Has anyone had an experience catching muskies in this area? Do you find the narrows any better than the open water out in the harbour?

Any help would be great, Thanks!

Never fished twelve mile, but similar in structure, I've fished the Moon River and Severn off of GBay for muskies. It is true that somedays can be a tough go, but there are some big girls hiding in the waters from GBay. Best advice I can give is find good weed (cabbage) growth in ranges of 8-15 foot of water. Cast edges or even get right in there; spinnerbaits both inline and hairpin are good. If you troll, same structure/growth,stay above 3kmh or you'll be shaking off pike, I loike using a jointed beleiver.
