Pflueger Supreme MG spinning reel

So as some of you know i have recently purchased a new higher end spinning rod and have 100 bucks to spend on a new reel, preferably around 9-12 bearings, i have looked at this supreme model, seems nice, any recommendations or experience with this reel or any other higher end spinning reel?

What rod did you end up buying? I would look at a Shimano Symetre, got one and love it. Just over 100 dollars depending on where you go. Never used the Pfleuger Supreme so I couldn't tell you if its worth buying. Also you could have 20 low quality bearings and still not be as smooth with a reel with 3 high quality bearings.

i got a simax great reviews on it, tons of backbone, got it for 40, regular price is 145, its lone of the higher end ones, i looked at the shamans but i don't really like the design on them but am still considering it, its just that lots of guys are saying that they will never go back to shimano after trying pflueger but who knows, i was also looking at the abu's more at the revo sx good reviews and its going on sale, at bps in a week, with a free hoodie and a reel trade in, to lower the price, anyone know what the rules are on the "reel trade-in" at bps?

Only drawback is if you require service on the reel who would you send it too. I had the pfluegers they are nice reels.

on which reel the pflueger? If you mean oil by service the reels then i can do that myself.....
