I am trying to find a place within about 3 hours of Toronto to go in August with my girlfriend to do some fishing.
I have been to Elephant lake lodge a few times and really liked it. I just wanted to know if there was something similar to that out there that I should be trying. We want to rent a cabin and boat and stay for at least a few days.
Smaller water like elephant is ideal.

a lake that has always been good to me is Charlston Lake 20min north of Gananoque/Kingston area...........perfect size, perfect amount of boat traffic.......big small/large bass, big pike and big lakers down deep.........a decent amount of outfitters to deal with
