Last year I stunk so bad. I did not even had a single strike.
Going to start mid August with all this crazy temperatures. Get into some browns.

I am in agreeance with Jose, I along with Tangledline, hopefully he isn`t tied up at work, but are going to get out earlier this year for sure, we only landed one last year, but we got to fight and play with several more.

Bloody Canadian peak summer is over already?(july) omg... time goes by too fast, i hate it.

It's already August... I guess I'll be heading out second half of this month.

Pier fishing make it sound like we are in fall already. So sad.

Hey guys, already heard some reports of Fish being caught on the cooler nights at the piers...Look slike an early run again...I might head out next week..Wait for a north wind

lol believe me or not. Bronte has some reports....Same thing happened last year when the big run came in early august and everyone missed it. I know for a fact that last monday and tuesday a big run staged off Bronte and people were catching before dawn after those rains we had. The tribs tend to start from west to east so next week we may begin to see some action in port ope and bowmanville.
I may try bronte sometime this week if I get a chance.

Just a staging or a actual run too? an spotted up in the river?
With these warm water.. salmons must be all pre-boiled in rivers.

Don't think its a run I think its just staging at the end of the rivers. U could always go out and try for yourself you dont need to take my word for it

Last year I missed out on the run. If I remember correctly I started going out in the middle of August.
This year I will keep an eye out for the water temps. probably head out the second weekend of August.

By the way, *caugh* Lime Green is the worse colour you can use, so do not buy those.

Hey guys, went out after the rain the other night to bronte. I did not catch but saw two fish caught and some jumping....this was about from 4:30-5:30am...so they are there.
