Ok my collegue and I are noobs. Basically, we have been going to rice lake with my inlatable and catching Bass, Perch, and a single sunfish. We would like to try fishing for Salmon and we read that from Sept - Oct people can try pier fishing at Port Credit.

We tried trolling, but since we have no idea what we are doing, we normally just drop anchor.

Is there an address that I can google? I really would like to try to catch a salmon (or anything other than a Bass, Perch, sunfish or a catfish). Basically, we were hoping for a place where we can fish from the shore. We are willing to arrive there at 3 am. We are open to purchasing any additional equipment.

We currently have to attempt salmon fishing:

a) lots of differnt lures
B) 18 ilb spider lines (we can buy heavier stuff)
c) two rods (i think we will buy a longer one)
d) trout net

Use a three way rig with a spoon or roe. If you go to a tackle shop just ask for a three way rig or bottom boncing rig.

Your gear should be good
