Just got back from the mouth of port credit, and let me tell ya lots of action! I was there from 430am to 730am.
The fish was on at 6am. I saw 3 caught and one lost where i was. And closer to the lake one person caught 3 fish. I got nothing but i did net 2 fish for a guy. the big one was at least 25 pounds and the other was 10 pounds. Also, the shore was jammed with anglers. We'll give it another go on Monday morning and try land my first salmon.

Thanks for reporting to us. It's obvious weekend morning will be packed up.

Worse thing to watch is someone with a light action river rod with 6lb test line taking forever to land a fish. Unlike river it's wide open water, can't pull in an beach the fish either. Let's hope when that happens it isn't the HOT PEAK time.

Oh yeah, hope you charged $5 to those needed a net but didn't bother to have their own net because they are too cheap. (oh no, the evil side of me is showing again....)

hey MikeyMikey,
Yes he had his own net! i netted the first with his and the second with mine.

Monday morning walked below dundas bridge for about 30 mins did not see a single fish, went to mouth and a few were being caught.

Need rain

It's hard to see fish in that spot because of the muddy water an you gotta cross the river to really see them. The construction workers told me there was "100" last week with "big dark ones" lol.

Did the water clear up?

Spent Sunday night and Monday morning at PC. Nothing there. Saw a few jump but noone had a fish on. We were near the rowing club.

Wrong side of the bridge. You should be heading south where the charter boats are. Follow the street and you should
looking at a park.
I was there early Sunday morning with decent action.

+1

Just to add, you need to go past where the charter boats are, right out to the mouth. There are plenty of fish out there, lots being caught right now.
