I've heard that it's been absolutely dead for the past week or so at Port Credit, just wondering if anyone went down this morning... any fish yet?

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

I don't know about the port, but erindale was dead too unless you could find some, but I think things will definably change once the water cools down.F'sure.

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

I dunno dude. Last time I was at PC with the Humminbird the temp was 22C, and the river was much cooler the farther I went. It just doesn't fit in with the chart. I'm gonna stick with the river for now till things start to pick up at the mouth cause it usually does?

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

When was the last time you went to Port Credit?

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

Because I want to know when you saw the water temp @ 22 C

Where did you get that picture? I had a similar site saved in my bookmarks before firefox went haywire and I lost them all.

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

The hydrometric chart for Credit River just updated... I think this signals a green light for Port Credit this weekend.

I'm without my car tonight so I can't get down there, but I suspect guys are going to have a good morning at Port Credit.

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

I "JUST" came back from PC, casted from around 2230~0030. Absolutely no action. Seen one splash and that was all the action I seen. Water wasn't as dirty as I thought by the mouth.

I am guessing Saturday morning/evening may be the time?

(#&%)#(*R I can't fish saturday night or sunday morning cause I gotta goto work early sun morning. Crap!

Still nothing huh??? Wow, it's nothing like it used to be back in the day... I don't mean to sound like some stereotypical old geezer, but back in my day, there would have been lots of action by now down there. 8)

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

Just checked the forecast: "close to 5 mm of rain from Saturday Morning to Saturday Overnight"

Should be a good weekend. I'm off to bed.

It turns out I was right.

A little birdie just told me that guys were smacking 'em this morning at the mouth on glow cleos between 5:00AM and 7:00AM. 8)

MikeyMikey, you left too soon. lol

Re: Any updates on Port Credit?

Arrived at Port Credit Sat morning at 4:30 am and fished till 6:00 am. I'll caught nothing. I saw one person catch a 15 pound salmon. i was told between 2am and 4am there was one caught and 4 lost. i am gonna try again Sun morning.

pasy, you left right before the mouth lit on fire from what I hear. Between 6:00 and 6:30 there were double and triple headers... 8)

*edit to add* Just got off the phone with a friend who was there this morning... the above is verified (by 2 people).

btw pasy, why would you leave at 6:00?? that's right at the peak time. (Just sayin')

i know its peak time at 6am! But i had to be at work for 6: 30 am. I am gonna go early sun moring again.
Hopefully it will on on again. By the way thanks openfire for the info on Port credit!

I was at credit last night between 11 and 2. Not even a single bite. Guess i will try Sunday or Monday morning.

I am giving you minus .......40 hrs notice (LOL) that I will be at PC Monday morning. LOL
First time out this year, broke my Avid waited until St. Croix finally issued me a credit for a replacement.
Then it got too warm for anything, go figure. Looks prime for Monday morning. Missed the first run waiting for St. Croix to make up their minds.

Shopped E-bay for a UV black light and it works great no more camera flash.
