After my trip to ken whillans, I went to port credit at 7:00. I caught nothing but an alewife and a round goby (I discarded this one as it is an invasive species), anyway, anyone know when the big bass come in, or when they came? Would they still be able to catch? also are there bass in port credit? It would be amazing to catch bass there. Also, I just bought some new lures, like the top water stuff like frogs and poppers.

Thanks guys

There's some largemouth bass in the marina that's beside the boardwalk and some smallmouth in the river mouth area. Lure possibilities are endless.

I dont think u are allowed to fish in the marina, if u r, plz tell me exactly where on a map. that would be much appreciated

I catch a lot of Bass under the road bridge, i usually catch 'em with silver spoons
I have always caught SMB, i have never seen a LMB in Port Credit :s

Been there under the rails 2 days this week and no luck at all
I don't know is just nothing is biting or just luck is out the door!

PC isn't exactly a hotspot, but there's usually something there. I accidentally caught a largemouth in the marina where the boats are a few years ago. I don't know if we're allowed to cast there, but I don't remember any signs saying you can't.

I have highlighted the places i usually try... if anyone knows knows any more spots plz highlight the spots in another colour and repost.

Thanks

They may have not traveled far up the river, I remeber reading gobies do not like moving water. Prefer slow moving cool waters.
