I heard some stuff about brook trout amd rainbows etc. eating powerbait and dying from it. Beads too...really bad stuff for them.

Doesn't make any sense...Senkos cost $8.99 per pack of 10...that's $0.89 per senko. I wouldn't throw away a senko...who would? 1 senko can pull probably 10 bass if you don't lose it. It' s more like, losing a senko because the bass swallowed it. it can happen.

I have never had a Bass swallow a senko . They usually run up the line or break in half. Trout worms on the other hand I have lost lots on the river. I know for a fact that they do tumble down stream and end up in fishes mouths.

Pinkies drifting past me steadily last opener.
Than my brother appears asking if I had any pinkies . He was hitting them steadily up stream from me. Wacky style they always pull off when hit.

I agree. Powerbait dough should only be used when you are harvesting. I have never lost any beads though.
