Just a quick report:

Me and one of my good buddies went out in search of some chrome this morning at one our spots.

After avoiding tons of chinook that are still in the water we managed to land some decent ones. Two tanks broke off due to some finely placed wood work. It was my first time targeting Steelhead and I'm still getting used to the centre pin, but I'm loving it.

Anyways here's a few shots of some that we landed. Crappy blackberry pic quality.

Great stuff right there, a bit of leg work really paid off ;) Too bad all the other pics turned out blurry... we'll get 'em tomorrow

nice pictures man, i'm still to get onto a few chromers hopefully soon  p.s i so recognize the place in the last pic

Let the STEEL REPORTS BEGIN!

Nice job, great looking fish.
The big ones lost will see you another day!

Thanks for posting... looking forward to many more as the season progresses.

Fish On!

small steelies are going up beaver river now. was there on saturday, got a few, only about a foot long or so.. water levels still low!
most of the salmon are done spawning up there...

Awesome fish! Looking forward to start Steelheading myself for the first time

nice fish i was on the rivers in my area today and they are moving in pretty thick i had 4 on but only landed 1 about 8lbs but had no camera. so you are learning to use your center pin once you get the hang of it you will enjoy cant beat them for fishin the rivers i have used one for 10 years now and would never go back to a spinning reel. and ya smile for the camera next time "a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work" lol
