Rainbow Report, March 26

On monday I decided to hit some water in the west end since the temperatures have dropped I figured I could catch a few fresh rainbows. Within the first 30 minutes I landed two nice rainbows, after an hour of catching nothing I decided to switch spots. After another 45 minutes or so I hooked into a large rainbow which broke me off in 5 seconds.. I wasn't happy. I took a few more drifts and ended up hooking into another nice rainbow. After a few more drifts I hooked into yet another jumper which ended up getting the best of me. Overall I landed 3 out of 5 fish in a couple hours. I would like to thank Luke for the pictures. Good Report,

We also did well on the 26th, it was cold with ice on the guides until about noon but there was hardly anyone fishing the Lake O trib we were on.. All fish were drop backs but it seamed like there were atleast a few in every pool. This was my customers first steelhead ever and the first on a fly rod, it was 32".

Ah well I'm hitting some eastern tribs in about 15 minutes, I might be out that way again on Monday.
