went out at 5 am this morning, started the day at a park near a river the was raising fast and getting muddy by the second.. ended up leaving early to head down the road to the other river, although it was a wet one this morning, the rain stopped just as we go to the other river.. surprisingly the river was not yet muddy, almost perfect clarity.. so a friend and i head down stream to find this nice bow sittin in a hole.. http://i1160.photobucket.com/albums/q483/logjam420/P1010039.jpg after putting her back i tried the hole again, sure enough had another fish on with in a few minutes ended up being the same fish, twice! lol

so we headed for the next hole, it was a logjam hole!! :mrgreen:/> my fav! :rolleyes:/> after a few drifts i had a big one!
http://i1160.photobucket.com/albums/q483/logjam420/P1010042-1.jpg i thought it was a salmon the way it was rolling and fighting..
http://i1160.photobucket.com/albums/q483/logjam420/P1010041-1.jpg, after about 5 min i knew she was getting tired, so i made a quick fight and got her to shore!

Lookin' good, looks like you guys had a great day. Love the action shots.

Nice fish
How is the rapala action?

Thx jason
i'd have to say its AMAZING!!!! LOL but im still new to the pin, so any fish feels awesome fighting it, even the 6 inch brown i got on sunday was a blast to bring in...

it seems with the pin you learn a bit more with every drift, and every fish.... not like spinning reel, thats fore sure.... but dont get me wrong, i miss the ability to change it up and toss spoons or spinners.
sometimes fighting the big ones i get my finger jamed in the reel when they take off.... guess its a bit of pay back for tricking them into my roe bags...
