Hey Everybody,

I was just wondering how I apply reel lubrication to my Abu Garcia spinning reel. I was also wondering how you clean sand out of your reel. I was fishing on a beach and placed my rod down next thing I knew I had sand all in my reel. I know dumb move but you learn from your mistakes I guess.

Rip it all apart and clean it all (Varsol if NOT Plastic Gears) , lube, oil it up and Reassemble it. The ONLY way I know of to get all that Sand out of there.
