if i am reading correctly every trib in this region is fishable until the 30th of september and then from the 30th to dec 31 only below hwy#2? so after dec 31 we are out of luck?

Read into the "Extended..." section a bit more.

The September 30th-December 31st time is slightly different for each tributary as well as what happens afterwards.

I made up a bunch of maps outlining the sections but unfortunately they are not with me ATM.

there are also year round opportunities on some tributaries. check the extended seasons for your zone in the regulations guide and have fun!

Everything in durham region is only fishable below highway 2 from Sept 30th to Dec 31st with the exception of the Ganaraska River (As of Sept 30th you can only fish south of the CPR tracks)

After December 31st, everything out there is only fishable from the CN tracks and south until trout opener.
