I cannot discuss river however in my zone there is a river open from a toll hwy down to hwy 2 until dec 31--makes sense to me except that the same river is fished above that hwy often. and even has a featured fishing area that people flock to on a regular basis--how is this possible--I am asking because where I was fishing seems to be against regs but its just downstream from where a lot of people fish--there is even signs to show you were not to fish--all very confusing....

I know a couple rivers like that where fishing sanctuaries or sometimes bylaws prohibit you from fishing certain areas....

Read the exceptions more closely in the regs...I'm sure it is mentioned. Of course "sucker anglers" can fish anywhere, anytime....

What size minnow-bucket did you use to catch those bad-boys?

Haha just kidding my friend. The thrill of catching fish on the fly doesn't depend on the size of the fish.. I remember how stoked I was when I caught my first on the fly-rod, and it was a TINY lttle rock bass. I'll never forget how stoked I was

totally---I have also been blessed with 2 fat bass and some other fish --it has been awesome lately I gotta say. i saw some carp flopping around near the river i was fishing so i will return there tonight and see what i can accomplish
