Rice Lake Master
Seeing as the weather was nice, made a trip to the cottage for an overnighter and I really had the fishing itch as it was a New Moon on the 13th so I was imagining a fishing frenzy beneath the ice.

Still lots of open water on the south shore.

There were, for the first time this year a couple of huts visible in the distance on and near the north shore.

Ice has been breaking up and re-freezing causes some nice slabs/icebergs to form.....LOL

Bubbling, cracking and stress noises can still be heard regularly.
Had the fishing bug in me so I came home and casted some cranks in open water in the Durham area for Pike but nothing to be had. My favourite honey holes in the general area were still frozen so had to try some new waters.
