Rice Lake Master
My time on the water this weekend was pretty limited. Headed up Saturday morning and didn't get out until about 7pm on Saturday night. Was out for a little over an hour near my place when I hear the wife calling me back. There was a power failure and the kids got scared so I headed in. Needless to say, the power failure lasted until around 11:30 pm so after it came back on I had to get my boat back in the lift. Was tired and didn't even feel like fishing anymore which is a real shocker. Think the 4 hours of alcohol was getting to me. Anyways after about an hour and a half I managed to land about 10 fish, the bite was once again definitley on and I wish I was out there longer. Caught both smallies and largies but the largies were smaller this time around and finally the big smallies came out to play.
Here are a couple of the better ones from Saturday night.
Sunday morning planned on hitting the water real early but by the time I got up it was almost 7:30 so I hit the water for about an hour then I packed it in. Lack of sleep has caught up to me and the power failure made the cottage feel like a sauna. so my sleep was kind of crap. Caught about 5 in an hour but nothing really big. Im sure had I stuck it out I would have been successful but no energy. My spots will have to wait until next weekend.
Enjoyed seeing the tournament on the lake this weekend and chatted with boaters going by. A nice change of pace.
