Rice Lake Master
After working Saturday afternoon I headed up to the cottage at around 6:30pm, so I was on the water by 7:30pm. I hate rushing but was eager to get some fishing in.
I was on the water for about an hour an a half and only managed to land 3 fish.
At about 8:15pm I hooked into an absolute monster bass, fought it for a bit, got a look at it, had it boatside but then the line snapped. It was a giant. I was pissed. Slammed my rod  into the water so it would not break. <_<
Grabbed another rod and about 15 minutes later, again I feel a tap, crank back and set the hook. Again a great fight, after seeing it I was determined to get it into the net. This time I won the fight and managed to land quite a nice Largemouth. The first one I lost made this one look pretty average, it looked a lot bigger. Anyways was a great night on the water. Definitely a new personal best. I'd say 6 or 7 lbs, forgot my scale so I can't say for sure.
Should come as no surprise that all the fish were caught dropshotting SLAMMERS in the color of my choice......
