Hi all, I will be headed to the Rideau canal, launching is Seely's bay and heading as far north as Ottawa on my boat at the end of august this year. My focus will obviously be on fishing! I'm primarily a bass fisherman, but also enjoy walleye, crappie and will also be attempting to target pike there as well.
can anyone tell me their experiences there? is the fishing good? or has the system succumb to heavy fishing recently? any tips and personal experiences there is welcome.
I dont know anyone that has ever fished there so my question is; should i be excited? is the fishing good?
im used to lake scugog, where the fishing pressure has been detrimental to the quality of the fishing on the lake.
