What's the biggest rock bass you've caught or seen?

My cousin caught this. It's slightly bigger than the one I saw a guy catch at Lake Aquitaine in Mississauga several years ago.

Also, last year on the same water he caught the biggest perch I'd ever seen without actually being a jumbo perch. It was long and broad but didn't have a belly on it. There must be some kind of panfish steroid in this water.

I've caught some pretty big rock bass and bluegill, if you fish near fenelon falls, theres pretty big panfish in there, i caught my biggest rock bass while muskie fishing i didn't get a size but you can imagine how big it was considering it hit a muskie lure

a lake right near bancroft i got one that was so big i thought it was a smallie untill i got it out of the water.
couldnt have been over a pound but it was a beast compared to most rockies. totally inhaled a 5 inch rapala

Lake Simcoe giant from a couple of autumns ago... I've caught many .75lb to 1lb Rock bass from Simcoe, but this one weighed a little over 2lb.

Can't really tell how big your Rocky is as you are holding it so far from your body.
I got one in Arlen Lake about 5 years ago, sorry before my iphone days. Was close to 2 lbs or maybe close to 3 . I thought it was a Smallie til I got it to the dock. It was so big I was thinking it could be a world record, but I would have had to kill it to keep it and find out so I just let her go. I have also found jumbo Rockies in some of the tribs of the 'geen approaching the 2 lb mark.
Red eyes can obtain some size.

Alfie.

Some nice rock bass on this thread guys. Thought i'd add this guy, caught him last September in the Nith River, just over a pound.
