Sad Tuesday

It was a sad day yesterday as with the storm that passed through today I decided it was time to winterize the boat.

Fogged, changed the gear oil and stabilized the fuel. Also did an oil change and changed the oil filter and bought 2 new spark plugs.

It truly was a sad day but at least I know it will start at the first sign of spring.

I am pretty sad too as I still have this thing where I want to softwater fish in the Kawarthas on Jan 1 2010~
My uncle once told me about fishing for crappie in the kawarthas before nov 15 and there was white stuff all over the ground. I think I might want to try that.

I also saw some ponds in and around my area that's all frozen...That's not good either

I doubt it will happen, but it's always good to dream :mrgreen:

For sure gonna hit up the Kawarthas in the new year! Just wondering where you can find out if the ice is safe enough for any particular lake? Plus, gonna have to break the bank for a whole new set of seasonal fishing gear.

"Dear Santa, now that you have brought us ice fishing on the Kawarthas, I would like......" hahahaha
