so i figured the mouth at duffins creek is so small i can hop across it and the mouth of the rouge is like 20 ft max across, so if one could manage to time it perfectly when theyre making their runs and entering the creek thousands of salmon are going to be going trough an opening a couple feet across and i think the fishing would be pretty epic, Think porthope just a lot closer together wth a lot of fish. Also are any of these mouths good for fishing the mudline after a heavy rainfall ?anyone have any luck there ?? Tight lines everyone let us know how your fishing goes this year (share pics too )

Duffins Creek is like a funnel...It may be a rush to hook with a salmon but it's not as thrilling in a small creek like Duffins.

defiantly i love open water salmon but i was thinking that if i can catch the fish on the lake side would be epic and even if i get them on the bayside would be decent open water too. its kind of hourglass shaped the bottom is lake o the middle is the actual mouth and the top is the bay which leads into the actual creek

not to be a killjoy but your off a bit on the width part. the rouge is about 60 ft across under the rail bridge---when the waters are up even more

remyboy i was there yesterday and im talking about that sand bank that stretches out and almost goes right across its like 20-25 ft there i didnt mean under the bridge
