Hey guys!
Was wondering if any of you guys have gotten out on the water lately and if so how far up have the chinnys gotten?
Have the passed most of the rivers CNE bridge line/ Highway 2 line or are they below the CNE bridge line? In between the Highway 2/CNE bridge line?
It doesn't matter which river we are taking about here and I really don't care which river it is. The reason is that I am getting a day off tomorrow and I wanted to know if I should start higher up or just hit things below the CNE bridge line.

The ones I went to yes we were above the cn tracks but below the 2... lots of area covered to find them though.

Get your hiking boots on

I live in Mississauga and the Salmon here are past dundas in a lot of areas. I was out West last week and couldnt find a single fish in the river but hopefully the rain tomorrow will help things moving!

Fishing East tribs and I have found them above and below but the HWY2/CN tracks vary a lot in distance from lake in all of them. Have caught fish well over 10k from lake.

Didn't end up catching any salmon yesterday but did manage to catch two nice sized browns (about a 4 and a 6 pounder) in a pool with over 100 chinnys in it

Saw a few fish make it past hwy 2. This rain might push a lot of fish up north. a lot of them have moved up past where i was fishing this morning. the pool i was fishing have mixed bag of chinnys, browns and steels. this was the perfect day to be out.
