For some reason I knew about this forum but somehow forgot about it. I was at Ontario Sport Fishing Forum, and that was shut down for some reason. Well anyway I think I'm going to like this board better as it seems more organized, and user friendly. Love the word tools btw not much to ask for in a good forum. Well on to the real reason for being here.. Of course to talk fishing. I love fishing the SouthWestern Ontario tribs during the salmonid runs. It's become more of an obsession rather than a catching hobby lol. But none the less even if I'm not catching anything you will usually see me smiling as everyone else catches fish but me. << Lol especially with a first time newb landing the monster I could never catch right before my eyes. As fun as salmonid fishing is awesome, combat fishing is not my thing. So I also enjoy trolling the small lakes up north for landing those beauty bass, northerns, walleye, lakers, splakers, bows, and specs. I'd love to get the equipment and know how to land great lake trophies. I try to be a good sportsman at any level or place I fish. I don't appreciate other people trying to be the fish police. If you don't like someone else's sportsmanship or my own for that matter, call the MNR for all I care, just don't confront me and I won't you. Cheers!!!

You said it! Those trout and salmon are an obsession! Used to inland fish exclusively until I tried the runs and got 'hooked'. Have to admit, my baitcaster has not been called into action lately...

Many WEST COAST Steelers & NORTHERN ONtARIO fishermen ... USE the BAITCASTERS - LIKE CRAZY!

Nice to have a "well rounded" arsenal.

A good Spinner can be presented with Deadly Results. (I love Panther Martins)

* You can also cover a lot of water similiar to a Pinner.

Food for thought.

lol hate to see a nice piece of equipment collecting dust!
