Yes.
I've fished the Ganny since 1974.
Biggest runs and size.
My first bow caught there was some kind of golden.
Had a green back red stripe and gold body.
Caught it on a fly with 9.00 CT fly reel. Lol
Two guys helped me land it.
Took a pic for me and said they'd mail it out to me.
Never received the pic sadly.
We used fly reels with mono back than for the one to one gear ratio.
The true start of the pin used today.

Ive been fishing there for over 20 years. A shame how the numbers have been dwindling..

Not just the Ganny dropping off Paul.
Lake O in the seventies was ridiculous with numbers..
Stocking was new than.
Once the States realized you had to imprint our numbers in Ontario dropped like a rock.
Even today their stocking numbers put us to shame here in Canada.

Oh i know.. I've been to the Fish Hatchery in Altmar, completely ridiculous numbers they put back into the water, atlantics, bows, cohos, and chinnys... at least they got that right...
