Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew any good Shore fishing spots on scugog.

right now I only know of spots in port perry
I know of the causeway / behind the loblaws, beside it (have yet to pull out a fish worth mentioning from it)

Also the Boardwalk (public boat launch) Great fishing there (can usually pull out largemouth bass 1 pound+ every 30 mins or so with spinners but extremely weedy and very limited shore line thats able to be fished due to the amount of weeds) maybe I'll do a report about the spot everyone I catch 1.5+ lbs I snap a picture then release

I was wondering if you would be kind enough to share other spots around scugog with me as I do not have a boat.

I think there was one in the SE reports section. Write up a proper report and you should gain access soon.

If you head up Simcoe on the west side of the lake there is a bridge just about in Seagrave that crosses the Nonquon river. Easy access right beside/underneath it. Caught some bass in there also lots of perch and sunfish. Apparently pickerel have been caught there too in early spring.

Also wanted to try out the point if you keep following the road that goes to the casino till it ends. Anyone have any luck from that spot?

If you follow Island Rd. which is the road where the casino is on, you can catch plenty of sunfish, bass and the occasional perch. Every 45 seconds You pull up a fish.

p.s. the bass are only about 7 inches, not really too big.
