hey yall's! lol

was out taking a look at a few new spots to try for the opener this year... was upset to see how many new trees are now covering some good holes..
but i was very excited when i stopped at a dam and fish ladder, to my surprise I seen over 100 huge rainbows and suckers trying to jump the fall, and also jumping into the ladder...

i have always seen videos of "rainbows" jumping, but had never seen it for my own eyes...
i would have to say it was amazing maybe good sing of things to come!!!

Cheers~!

Its quite the site to see, I can watch 'em all day. Never gets old.

Fishing for channel cats a few years ago near a dam, a bow came flying out trying to clear the dam, messed up the angle and nearly hit me <_<

Lol, wow imagine hooking that goldfish on a XXXXXLite rod with 1 oz test line. What a jumper  .

Alfie.

I saw a Great Blue Heron fly by today, could have been one that stayed out the winter but if it was a migrating GBH that seems a bit early.
